at Maple House
a Simon Emergency Homeless Shelter for men on North Circular Road
Saturday, December 12th
10am – 4pm
Volunteers are needed to help paint, clean and decorate Maple House for the holidays.
Dedicated workers are needed from 10am – 1pm & 1pm – 4pm.

Gifts & Donations Appeal
Please consider donating a Christmas Gift Bag for one of the 36 male residents, aged 19 – 75.
Each Christmas gift bag should contain the following essential items for one of the male residents:
Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Soap/Wash
Shaving Cream, Deodorant
Toothbrush, Toothpaste & Mouthwash
Comb, Washcloth & Face Towel
You may also consider including additional items, such as:
Dental Floss, Razors, Nail Clippers, Cotton Buds, Hair Wax/Gel, or Aftershave.
Donations may also be made online at www.irishusalumni.com towards to the cost of a full gift bag (approximately 25 euro), which the IUSA service day team will organize on your behalf.
The shelter are also in need of new/as good as new items, such as:
jumpers, t-shirts, hoodies, hats, baseball caps, sports bags, scarves, gloves, towels, footwear, tracksuit bottoms, new underwear and socks, jackets, backpacks, and wallets.
Donated items may be dropped to Derek Cleary, Localise, 6 Ontario Terrace, Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6.
