Dr Joseph Roche

Dr Joseph Roche is an astrophysicist at Trinity College Dublin. He has worked at NASA and used the Hubble Space Telescope to observe symbiotic stars. He was a member of the Astrophysics Research Group in Trinity’s School of Physics and has also served as Education and Learning Manager for Science Gallery Dublin. He is an Assistant Professor in Science Education at Trinity’s School of Education where his research areas include citizen science and the role of science in society. He is Course Coordinator for Trinity’s new Google-funded Postgraduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching and Learning. Twitter: @joeboating
