Who is speaking at the IUSA Conference 2023

Mr Ciarán Ó Cuinn

Ciarán Ó Cuinn works on international relations and peace processes, primarily in the Middle East. He is Head of Mission at MEDRC, the sole surviving institution and negotiation process of the Middle East Peace Process. His primary focus is the development of multilateral tools and strategies to deal with trans-boundary issues such as climate and conflict. He is founder of Amanathar, a strategy consultancy that advises governments on policy and international relations. As ministerial policy adviser at Ireland’s Departments of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Communications, Energy & Natural Resources, he spent more than a decade working on the various elements of the Irish Peace Process. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin and The School of Oriental & African Studies, London, he holds degrees in History and Public Policy & Management. Ciarán is Chair of the Glencree Centre for Peace & Reconciliation.
