The Hackathon Challenge
Create a social innovation product or service that will improve the lives of young people. Up to 100 young innovators from Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the United States are invited to participate in the U.S. Embassy’s Creative Minds Social Entrepreneurship Hackathon weekend from 6 – 8 November 2015, in partnership with the Dublin City University Ryan Academy.
Participants, aged 18-25 years old, will represent a broad range of backgrounds and skills (not-for-profit/social issues, business development, user experience design, software coding, presentation skills, etc.) to ensure the best possible skills mix and sharing of expertise. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until places are filled. The application deadline is 5pm on 9 October 2015. Successful delegates will be notified by Friday, 16 October.
