Sinead O’Donovan from the U.S. Embassy in Dublin here. I wanted to get in touch about the upcoming Ireland United States Alumni Awards. We are looking for nominations for the award – you can nominate yourself, or someone who you think is deserving of the accolade.

Nominees should at some point in their lives have participated in a U.S. exchange program, such as the J1 Visa Program, The Fulbright Program, The IVLP, amongst others. Nominees should also be someone who has made a difference to Irish society and has remained invested/interested in the U.S. – Irish relationship since their return.

If you think that you, or someone you know, would make a good nominee, please fill out the attached application form and send it back by reply to this email. The awards will be presented at a dinner on the 20th of January 2022 (tentative on government restrictions on gatherings at the time).
