IUSA Christmas Service Day in support of a Simon Homeless Facility – Saturday, December 12th. Service days are a regular feature in the IUSA Calendar of Events. Previous days of service have seen IUSA members, students and friends gather to volunteer in supporting organizations such as ALONE, The Peter McVerry Trust, a Women’s Refuge and a Community Garden. Anyone and everyone is welcome to roll up their sleeves and work for a half a day or even a full day and monetary donations, however small, are most welcome too.

The next day of service will take place on Saturday December 12th so please save the date to help the IUSA bring Christmas cheer to a Simon Homeless Facility. Volunteers are needed from 10am – 4pm to help with indoor and outdoor work, and to help decorate for the holidays. We will also be organizing a gifts appeal for the residents of this emergency shelter in Dublin 1, to provide much needed supplies and support for the homeless community.

More details to follow so save the date and why not ask some friends or family to join you in getting in to the spirit of giving in advance of the holiday season?  If you are available on December 12th please email
