Sustained applause filled the John Field Room at the National Concert Hall on Monday, January 14 as Fulbright Alumna, Prof. Therese Fahy, concluded her performance of Debussy’s ‘Preludes’. Presented by the Ireland United States Alumni Association, the concert ended a year-long program of events by the well-known Irish pianist to celebrate the life of Claude Debussy. The event promised to be a magical journey through the visually Impressionistic music of this truly great composer and the audience was not disappointed.

As part of the Association’s series of prominent cultural event, Fahy’s concert provided a unique opportunity for alumni and invited guests to hear the remarkable presentation by one of their own.  Stay tuned for further events and updates from the IUSA.
